110 statues of footballers in the UK, and none of were are women. Until now.
We erected the first statue of a woman footballer to spur on The Lionesses for the Women’s World Cup, and for young girls to look up to.
It won the hearts of the nation (and a silver at the FAB Awards)
And is on permanent display at the National Football Museum in Manchester.
